Overall, this is a very good book. It teaches you a great deal about classes, homework teachers, friends, general middle school life and boys. This book is completely appropriate for middle school readers, and I would even encourage fifth grade girls to read it as well. I would advise them to read it because it can help them know what middle school will be like. I very much enjoyed this book and hope they have a high school version.
