Timou is a motherless girl training with her father to be a mage. When the prince goes missing one day after a hunting party, Timou's father goes in search of him. But things only get worse when he doesn't return. Timou knows it is up to her to find her father and the prince. Even if she has to confront evil. Even if she has to leave love behind.

Opinion:

This book was very exiting. One of the best books I ever read! Some things are pretty confusing, but if you just keep reading through, it gets easier to understand. I had to re-read through some of the battle scenes because I was reading so fast (to find out what will become of Timou) that I didn't understand much of it! It was very hard to put the book down.
