Aliens have attacked earth twice and almost
destroyed the human species. To make sure humans
win the next encounter, the world government has
taken to breeding military geniuses -- and then
training them to the arts of war ...

Opinion:

Ender's Game is a classic and a great sci-fi coming-of-age book.  Very exciting with excellent characters and a storyline that has brought many additional books and adventures.  I met OrsonScott Card at an ALA meeting and it was interesting to hear that he originally wrote Ender's Game for adults.  He is really happy that teens love it too.  I highly recommend this book and this series.
