Brittany Benko was born in Dallas, Texas and moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with her mother in the summer of 2000. She was involved in many school chorus performances, including the All City Girls Choir in Mesquite, Texas. Brittany was selected to sing at the Dallas Opera House at eleven years of age. Only three were selected for her district. Brittany is a special needs mother and a law enforcement wife. She has been published as a poet in the Autism Parenting Magazine and the Open Door Poetry Magazine. She is currently working on a poetry series and a children's picture book about autism spectrum disorder and writes articles on Hubpages. Brittany also manages a poetry blogging website.
