Profile Picture

Liesl Shurtliff takes one of the most loved fairy tale characters, LIttle Red Riding Hood, and makes her into a heroine that goes simply by the name Red.

The story follows Red and her friend Goldie (Yes, that is based on the character Goldilocks) on a quest to find a magic that will save Red's sick Granny.  There are references to many events in the traditional fairy tale, but they are told in a way that makes the stories seem entirely new.
