Blood and Guitars is about a vampire, Aurora, and a mortal,Trey, who meet in a night club. Aurora doesn't know that Trey is a famous singer in a band called Catalyst. Aurora plans on drinking his blood that night, but something about him stops her. In this book, vampires don't kill people when they drink from them, but their drinking from the human causes the human to have an instinct to stay away from that vampire. Aurora is a very talented artist. She agrees to do the artwork for Catalyst's new album so she will have an excuse to be with Trey. Aurora is very popular among the men vampires. She is putting Trey in danger by continuing to see him. They have set out to kill Trey because they believe that a human that Aurora spends so much time with has to have delicious blood. When Aurora confesses to Trey about who she is, Trey's response isn't one you could guess. Will Aurora and Trey be able to be together? Will Trey be a lucky vampire's meal? Will Trey still love her after she confesses?

Opinion:

Blood and Guitars is a very interesting book. The characters in this story are realistic, except for the vampires. If Aurora wasn't a vampire then this book could be the life of a real person. It is about forbidden love, which can happen to anyone. This book is told from both points of view. Aurora tells chapters and so does Trey. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance and vampires.
