At her birth, Ella of Frell was the unfortunate recipient of a foolish fairy's gift - the "gift' of obedience. Ella must obey any order given to her, whether it's hopping on one foot for a day and a half, or chopping off her own head!

Opinion:

This fantasy was a very enjoyable tale of a girl with a curse who travels all over to find a cure for her misfortune.  Her adventures and the characters she meets along the way help keep you reading until the end.  I highly recommend this book for a young audience looking for a great fairytale.
