Looking for a traditional but modern fairy tale? Then this is the story for you.

The royal bear children find a mysterious egg one day. When the egg hatches, they discover the baby is a very rare dragon!

The children raise the baby dragon named Pegasus. He becomes particularly close to the princess, until one day, the King decides the dragon is becoming too large to stay in the castle. The family finds a safe place in the wild to set the dragon free.

Years pass, and the kingdom becomes involved in a terrible war. The royal siblings are captured and held hostage by the enemy. When all seems helpless, a fierce dragon appears in the sky threatening the enemy army and also endangering the Royals.

The princess recognizes the terrifying dragon as Pegasus and calls out to him. Does Pegasus remember the children he once loved? Read this sweet tale to find out!

Opinion:

I thought this was a very sweet tale. It read like every traditional fairy tale I have heard but was still unique in its plot.

Any child would enjoy hearing this story read aloud. When I was younger, I always enjoyed retelling stories that my parents read to me at bedtime. This tale is the perfect story for a child to retell over and over again.
