In the book Firefly Hollow by Alison McGee all the fireflies, crickets, and water voles are always told not to interact with the "giants,", also known as humans. Not Firefly, Cricket, and Water Vole. They like the miniature giant, Peter. They even want to do things like giants. Firefly wants to fly to the moon and Cricket wants to play catch. All Water Vole wants to do is find his family that was washed down the river in a big storm. When Firefly and Cricket's nations find out about their secrets, the pair decide to leave. They go and live in Water Vole's boat. Then Peter has to go to school and they sail where the river meets the sea.

Opinion:

The reason I rate this book five stars was how humorous and adventurous it was. I also liked how it took place in an animal/bug point of view. If you like books that are silly, adventurous, and a little bit sad then I recommend  this book. I will share this book with everyone I can and cherish it for a long time. My favorite character was Water Vole because of his leadership and wisdom. My favorite part of this book was the ending. I liked how they all lived happily ever after.
