In the novel Gray Zone by Veronica R. Tabares, Autumn, a kind sophomore in high school, discovers herself a victim of a cyber-prank that has circulated rapidly and widely from one Internet user to another. All of her personal information shared with the rest of the world. That was the last thing that Autumn needed. With support from her childhood best friend, Sophie Rose, the situation gets handled and Autumn is imposed by coercion to transfer schools. As Autumn commences to make new friends and enjoy school without being bullied, cyber-bullied Sophie Rose transfers to the same school due to bullying issues. As time elapsed, Autumn found herself without the support of Sophie Rose in her new school. But when a mishap occurs Autumn feels isolated and alone. Autumn is committed to bring an end to this, and to find out who is behind all of the trouble-making.

Opinion:

My opinion on this novel is that it was compelling to read. I want to address that this novel is rather slow paced, but I believe that the author is a great writer! This novel made me stop and think about the choices that we make and the choices made by the others around us. A part in this narrative did make me get very emotional; suicide cases. My favorite character was Autumn; she was so kind and made great choices! I thoroughly enjoyed this novel!
