Numbed is about two boys who get zapped by a math robot while at a math museum.  They lose all their math skills.  They don’t know what to do, and there is a big math test coming up.  The teacher said that if all the students’ scores together passed, there would be an ice cream party.  The boys will have to go back to the math museum and pass a variety of tests to regain their math skills.  Will they be successful, or will they fail the math test and crash the ice cream party?

Opinion:

I thought this book was great.  After I finished the book, I let some of my siblings read it.  I saw how much they liked it because they couldn’t put it down.  Until I read the book, I thought it would be crazy because the cover looked weird.  I think people should not judge a book by its cover because when someone skips a book that has a weird cover, then they might also be skipping a fantastic story.  I found out it is best to judge a book after I read a chapter or two.
